| In some deep thought I considered wheter or not if I should buy a new gun or to upgrade the one I have now. 1. I really like the style of my G36C, and 2. I also already know this gun inside and out.
TO clarify, I have not bought the A&K, I am going to be upgrading this gun instead of buying a brand new one because I would even need to do upgrades to the A&K.
Now that is established.
I am considering painting the entire upper receiver and hand guard OD Or painting only the mag well and the handguard. Opinions. Painting this gun will break up its random blackness and also come in handy if I ever had to ghille it. I am also buying a barrel extension which I am going to paint a different color.
Oh and the rails I am going to leave black.

| I've run into the same problem you have. I have the SL8 (also a G36 variant) and am struggling to decide on whether I want to add more upgrades to my current gun (internal, external, aesthetics) or purchase a new gun. I have the itch to purchase a new one (maybe a gas bolt-action, PSG-1, or something of that nature), but I'm thinking I might be able to scratch that itch by improving my current gun instead. Good luck on your project - post pics! | |

| because it would look fugly I want to have color contrast to distort its figure at least on the line of color I think the extremities such as the stock, magwell, and handguard would be very good places to paint. leaving everything else the Upper receiver in OD would not look right with the rail. | |

| Not all camo painted G36's are fugly. You just need to know how to do it. I did this one to a friends CA custom G36. I did a tan black mishmash at first but it didnt look good, so I did the same camo that is on my VSR. I really like this camo because it works well at Conquest(the closest field to me). If you play in a darker wooded area you might want to add or replace the brown that I used. In these pics the gun looks allot darker. Excuse the crappy background I had to through this together in just 2 mins. [img] [/img] [img] [/img] More better pics on request. sticks | |

| That gun looks sick!(directed to sticks.13) I like how the the pattern of the camo is at an angle. No offence STAT, but your camera isn't that high of quality. Other than that, nice job. | |

| Thanks guys. STAT your paint job is really good too! I really like how it looks almost like a distorted Tiger stripe pattern. Is that a PEQ on the bottom?
