| Well seeing as how we knew that whenever we started playing airsoft as a team ( me and my buddies and I ) , that since we could yet drive that we would have to start building our own airsofting fields . Most might consider this back yard battles , but ywt it is far from it . Other airsofters around where we live have built there own fields and we charge each other to play on each other's fields in sponsored events , this is really a good way to airsoft wit hout having to go to big fields . | |

| Ya I guess it is a good idea only the money just goes from hand to hand lol but i guess if you only play your field then you could make some money. | |

| Making a Field of your Dreams would be Great, but there are some huge costs involved even if you keep it strictly wood land,
The biggest would be Insurance !!!! You would have to have yourself so well protected to avoid any kind of Law Suit, even having all players signing Waivers of understanding, non- Liability, and agreements to Sites Rules and Regulations, sooner or later some jerk would be bringing you before the Judge. The legal costs alone would be enough to drive you bankrupt in short order.
Then there is an Enviormental Impact Study/Survey ( Depending on where you Live ), have to make sure that the nice People from the EPA, and GreenPeace are happy.
This would be the tip of the Iceberg, just keeping the Players occupied and happy, well maintained, Watered, Fed, and Rested is such a administrative nightmare, I DonĀ“t want to think about it.
Last summer at Golden Horizon the Orgas took in close to 45,000 dollars for the event, it was 3 days, 1 Day Fun Play, 2 day MIL-Sim, after all was said and done, paying for Fuel for the MI-8, Tanks, BMP,BRDM and so on, Food, Water, Insurance, Electricity, Medics ( Real ), Pilots, Crew Chief, and the Mountain of little bills that came in later they ended up clearing about 1500 dollars. So the question is, is it really worth it ??
As a Player, OOOOOO YES !!!!! | |

| Yeah our fields don;t cost near as much to run , mainly because of us not having tanks and stuff like that , and we do require a waiver to be signed before playing too . | |

| We kind of have the same exact concept where we have started to encourage this in our community. However I do not have the official field yet. Once my parents buy some investment land about a hours drive we can establish a large field to invite all the groups to. For now tho we just have a smaller field that is just plainly woodland and a few dirt tracks we can't build anything on it...because its not ours however there are 'natural' bunkers and such 'natural' structures all over the place | |

| around northern Michigan there r vutaly no airsoft fields...atlest that i have heard of...but when you get closer to kalamazoo and our southern boarder there a few places larger fields to play...unfournualty that is about a 6 hour drive and its is just not convenent...however i own a few acres of woodland which i already use for airsoft and i plan to soon make some "cabins" if you will and bunkers...so it works out well...o and their is a paintball field that ocationaly opens for airsofters (but that is very rare) | |
