| Hello everyone. I have just gotten my first gas gun, a maruzen ppk/s. everythings great on it, except for one thing. i believe the silencer threads have worn down or something because i can just slide the silencer in and out now without screwing it in. I looked online, and some people said to put electric tape over it, but for me, that didn't work and the tape just got all bunched up because it was too thick. I also tried painting it again, maybe adding a little thickness to the threads, because the threads are silver now and before they were black, and that did not work either. any advice and suggestions would be much appreciated. thanks! | |

| I think it may just be a defect sorry to tell you but i don't think there is much you can do other than maybe get a new barrel with enough of it sticking out to put the silencer on but i don't know much about this sorry. | |

| Thanks for all the help, but i think at least some of you have it wrong. i do have the metal barrel and the supressor already on, as i got the "movie prop" version of the ppk. it probably is just a defect, haha especially since it is the gun the great james bond uses, or once used. anyway thanks and if anyone else has any ideas, keep em coming. | |

| If the threads are worn down so much that the silencer just slides on and off, there is really not much you can do. First try to determine which is really worn out, the barrel or the silencer, some silencers can be torn down and new replacement parts installed, same goes for the barrel.
If the parts are to expensive or in a bit of a money crunch because of the Silly Season, you may want to try Plumbers Tape ( Teflon Tape ), it wraps tighter on the threads, and gives a better fitting, but this is really just a quick fix, nothing for a long period of time. | |

| It is actually very small, when i first got it, i thought they were mistaken and made it pocket sized. But it really isn't. It is the same specs as the real weapon, and you really don't appreciate the size until you hold it for a little. | |

| Yes, it is really nice. The size is very comfortable, but not too small like a pocket pistol, so people think they can just run past you. I just got shot with this one, and it hurts. | |

| .20s and .25s. the 20s like to go up a little and rise, so i will stick with .25s. speed barely changes. | |

| I would use lighter ammo than that for a side arm , you don't really need that much of accuracy . | |
