| I don't think you understand what I was saying either. Wow. Yeah, I looked into getting a P90 just to be a little different, but I quickly found it to be as you said with just a couple of looks.
I was referring to your avatar. My mommy watches that show. She is a scifi person. I believe they use P90s most of the time. Hence why I said you were the only one who would understand why I thought that.

| Ok Roamer,I now what ypu're talking about. STARGATE SG-1 is what Jack O'Neill is the show. They uses REAL GUNS with the fireing pins removed.(or so they used to,unless they changed) The P90 as airsoft calles it, Is based off of a German gun which the name has sliped my mind. SniperL96
PS can we stick to the topic i really need these suggestion badly.

| good, I feel less awkward now lol Like I have said multiple times regarding new guns. Make sure you take into account what some of these folks say here because for most are pretty darn smart, BUT in the end you must live with the gun. So make sure it is what you want and not what somebody else tells you is good to get. I know.... that doesn't help, but I can't help you as most of the others here can -Roamer | |

I know.... that doesn't help, but I can't help you as most of the others here can -Roamer I agree with you though Roamer, even if you think you're of no help lol. Get a gun YOU like. Take the advice of others into consideration for sure, and read up online of whatever guns you're interested in BEFORE buying them, and you'll be fine I did PM you though L96 with some recommendations. I pretty much recommend, in your situation, starting with a fairly high-quality, low cost gun that has the potential for future upgrades, of course - the JG bar-10. Being a sniper is a risky business and many end up not liking the role very much, or want to buy a regular rifle so they can switch between roles from time to time. So if that's the case, you only spent around $100 on your rifle, and you didn't go all out and spend $350+ on a TM or Maruzen with upgrades. The bar-10 has much room for upgrades, and you can rest assured that it'll last you a long time. Also Seabass was nice enough to write a free tutorial on how to mod the bar-10 for free, so that's another great advantage

| I got a clone L96 as well. Obviously they aren't as durable, but they are half as costly.
Just remember that the gun doesn't make the sniper, the sniper makes the gun.

Besides, I spend probably 45 minutes a day, every day, recommending specific gun types to people based on their needs/wants (on TASS), and then they decide upon a gun completely different than what I even mentioned. In the end, you go with the gun you want, and allow only a little influence by other airsofters.... and to me, that's perfectly fine. It's your gun, anyway. (by the way, the KJW M700 is a fairly good gas operated rifle - just do it )

| well if you are talking about propane that you hook up to a gas grill(which do come in smaller bottles that are used in airsoft) then yes it can, but this is VERY unlikely as there would need to be some form of fire (ie. match, or electic igniter). if you are talking about green or blue(134a gas), which are a more refined version of propane. then no. however in extreme heat your green or blue gas bottle can explode if left in a confined space(car trunk, etc etc) or in direct sunlight for longer periods of time(1-2hrs).
honestly im considering a KJW M700 as a cheaper sniper, then modifying my M4 to a CQB model.
hope you like it.

| no the KJW is a clone of Tanaka. which means that KJW(Kuan Ju Works) copied Tanaka's M700 specs almost exactly. some parts are going to be a little less quality. its kinda like the whole paper copier thing, the more you copy a paper on the copier the more distorted the paper becomes. the only thing that i would worry about in the KJW M700 compared to the Tanaka is the barrel inner diamiter. the Tanaka comes with a 6.06 stock and im guessing that the KJW is a 6.08. no big deal most people replace the inner barrel anyways.
good luck with it. i want to hear a review soon
