Subject: Gear Set Mon Dec 22, 2008 5:40 pm
Hey guys, i'm kinda new to real airsofting, (I used to use the little plastic guns, in my back yard) and i was wonder what kinda gear I should get for around 230 Bucks total. Now, i have no gear, and this would be my first serious set.
Any tips would be mucho appreciato!

How many mags do you have, and do you want a chest rig or a vest? Oh and do you want OD, Tan, Cayote Brown or some other camo pattern?
For airsoft I would stick to higher end clone companies such as EOtech and Pantac. I'll build you a lost once I know what you want.

Well i actually don't have that many mags, for my Mp5 I have 2 cause my friends lost one, and for my m4 i have 2, but i plan on buying more this week. I live down in San Diego, so probably just Tan, and I like the Idea of a chest rig because they're fairly cheap.

You should consider getting a Molle type vest....so you can move around pouches to where you want them

You probably want a MOLLE rig since you have two different magazine types. And yo will definitely want a Hydration system or backpack to fit you water in...
