Okay, just thought of asking this. What airsoft gun would you buy if money were not an option. Please feel free to make note of any and all upgrades you would put in it to make it your dream gun. I don't want you to go find the most expensive gun you can and post it here! Have fun with it and be honest.

.....I don't think I could answer this right yet... I might need to see some examples and ponder about it some more.

Systema M16 PTW with JP precision RAS, and the 550 and 450 FPS cylinders, custom paint job.
why? because it tops any AEG, there are many others but not enough space.... basically no AEG will be able to touch the quality of this weapon anytime soon. and stock it can handle a 550 FPS cylinder set.

PS: the RAS is about to find a home on my M4

Mine is the "VFC Barrett M82A1 Mid-Term Type (8mm) - VERSION 2." I actually hear this gun isn't all that great, as it experiences significant gas leaks, but the intimidation factor alone would make up for it Sure it's twelve feet long and ways 150 pounds, it'd be worth the sore arms, back, and legs! lol. Anyway, I'm sure most of you have seen this gun before, but it's still my favorite. Too bad only 100 were made Might I add, it fires 8mm .34g BBs at around 450 fps with red gas!! Ridiculous!

The sidewinder would also be nice. Although BBs are fairly cheap, I'm not sure if I could afford the 90 rounds per SECOND this gun fires off!

I think one of the greatest parts of an event is the time before it even begins when everyone is walking around, talking to each other, and showing off their arsenal. I couldn't imagine being able to show off one of these babies

Other than that, being realistic, not that a "dream gun" has to be realistic, but all along my dream gun has been the SL8 or SL9. Now that I have the SL8, I'm rather satisfied!

For CQB a TM SPAS 12 (roamer!!! lol)

For sniping though... If i had the money.. I would seriously not pass this gun up... i just couldn't... it's so Watch your language. nice.

i like the m82 as well.. If it were actually good for sniping in airsoft.. I hear it's not worth it.

Ah yes, the m82 would be quite worthless on the battlefield. Sure it'd be intimidating, but between the weight, length, and bulkiness of the thing, I just don't see it being all that great. But the 450 fps with a .34 8mm could make up for part of that

Well... didn't expect to see an Echo 1 as a dream gun, but I guess I can go along with it No offense against those who own Echo 1s before everyone starts to get defensive lol. I've heard good things about the stag arms though. Hey, at least your dream gun is within your reach!

Hey, I think Echo 1's are great... honestly. I can see how that catch crap becuase they haven't been in the scene since the very start like TM or CA. Looks like a pretty sweet gun. I will say that I think most ppl would get a less common gun (M16 and AK's I hear dominate).

The gun looks sweet though, and sorry to the CA, TM, ICS owners.... with the upgrades you'd put in it, I think it could hold its own easily!

lol if anyone ever knocks you for having a "clone" and they have a CA tell them that at one time CA was a clone too... and might i add they were HORRIBLE replicas in their early days.

sticks i agree... I hate the fools who say oh you have an echo 1 or jg why waste your money?!!?! WELL!!!!!! why waste your money on something that isn't a systema.. Shuts em up everytime... But roamer Yes, i respect it as a CQB killer, tell you the truth.. I want one for CQB so bad, and would easily trade my mp7a1, mags and battery's for a nice one.

A Fully Upgraded Tokyo Marui VSR shooting 550 FPS. (Since that's a little out of my reach I am buying the BAR 10 this weekend. Yay!)

nah, car batteries are pretty expensive lol. Sorry seabass, I don't want to take out an installment plan on your batteries... You might want to buy stock in a BB manufacturer though lol.

Well the thought did occur to me Ragnarock... if you could unload a payload of about 100,000 bb's all at once over a field chances are you would hit somebody. The only problem I saw in the plan was that I would hit a lot of friendlies as well.

Actually I am quite content right now... although I would like to get an MP5k as a secondary for when I use my Bar 10.

I wouldn't recommend carrying two guns. My best friend got a MP5 thinking he would use it with his sniper but then discovered that carrying that many guns AND using them effectively is impossible.
