TEAM TAG

So I am finally getting majorly involved in an airsoft team now including 20 members. I am the vice president of the team and am involved in recruitment and training. We are Team TAG of Northern Michigan College in traverse city. Our team is iconsidered a club of the college, and therefore, the college is paying for all of our BB's, green gas, and some new guns. They are also going to be getting us some team patches. One of the other perks is that they reimburse for travel, and we will get gas money to go to matches around the state by representing the college. I am so excited, we are officially starting practice this June.

Very nice work! how did you get your school to agree with that? In MA everybody I live with and know (except the people I play airsoft with) are against gun even if there airsoft guns. I hate living in MA...........

Well you just have to push the idea that it is a club, and that you will be positively representing the school, and city when you go to events, by being good sportsmen, cooperative, with other people. The school hopes to just gain money, by getting more students to enroll. Think of the payoff they may get, if tuition actually costs as much as I am guessing. (I am not looking forward to college prices.)

I just might have to try that but I doubt my school is goning to go for it. Same here on the college prices there just outragous unless you go to a state college. Funny story I told my mom I wanted to go to college and she this "oh boy how much is this going to cost me" YAY! score one for parental support.

Yeah I heard about that, you can join two organizations to help you pay for college. The Army, or (Bet you guys didn't hear about this!) UPS. HAHA. They pay for half your tuition.

Thats the problem I have though my parents aren't very excited about me joining. Ive also read some storys about people not getting there money after there service. Ive talked to a USMC recruiter and an Army recruiter and a Navy recruiter but they've all fed me different storys and lots of lies.

congrats my borthers friend plays in the "pros" and I keep debating wether or not to hit him up for some stuff

Thats what I would do whats the worst that could happen? He could just tell you no. Or you could say to him if you ever have any gear your looking to get rid of i'll take it!
