Would I have to upgrade other parts if I upgrade the spring?

I don't think so, I think you can just upgrade the spring for now.
I don't know much on L96 upgrades, But i do hear the words on the street, are they're pretty hard to upgrade. If don't aready have the L96, and plan to upgrade your guns, get the JG-Bar 10
