echo 1 SCAR 8.4v and 9.6v

How do I tell f a 9.6v battery is compatible with my SCAR? because my 8.4v that came with it i don't think can power it fully

They make SCAR batteries. This should fit yours too if not you can dremel the stock a litle so it can. They also sell a SCAR stock with a battery already in it for $95.

well the SCAR i think its 8.4v isn't strong enough ill look into it thanks bob

Your 8.4 should do the job just fine, if you are having problems with the actual gun adding a 9.6V would only worsen the problem.

Why do you think it isn't fully powering the gun?

the gearbox lock, can't that be caused by a battery that can't fully power it?

it can be caused by a battery that is in the process of dying, or is at the end of its charge. However I would look into the wiring/motor if you gearbox is locking up. I know for a fact that echo 1's motors suck.... I could not get them to pull an M120 on my TM gearbox. It could also be motor height, or the wiring is frayed somewhere. First I would use a different 8.4V battery, if that doesn't work then I would adjust the motor height(not allot but a half turn-full turn at most), if that doesnt work I would ship it to a smith and have them re-wire it/diagnose the problem. The wiring sucks anyways, even if thats not the problem have them replace it with good wiring(Systema is what most will recommend).

well its already at echo 1 being fixed
well what motor would work for it? same with battery would any 8.4v or 9.6v work?
