would you call airsoft a sport?

i have a friend who thinks that airsoft is a sport!!! its a hobby, since it doesn't have
A. "airsoft PRACTICE", or
B. "FANS WATCHING" (in bleachers, not on youtube, but you know what i mean)

there are many other reasons as too why I do not think it is a sport. anyway, i hope I'm right, you just tell me if you think its a hobby.... or a sport.

P.S. - for those of you that ask who this friend is, i can't tell you because he said that the only way i could make this topic mentioning a "friend" was for him to be anonymous.

It is a sport AND a hobby.

does your friend think we're going to hunt him down and beat him or something? i'd say it is a sport. and yes, you can have airsoft practice. do you ever go outside and shoot at targets? i reckon that's practice.

i think its a sport and a hobby. because you can collect airsoft guns, but also battle with them.

and who knows? when the zombies finally rise, maybe they will be able to be killed with airsoft guns.

I actually think of Paintball as a sport, and Airsoft as a Mil-Sim.
I do think airsoft is a sport, but when compaired to Paintball, its more of a mil-sim
just my opinion tho
