Summer Vacation

so what are you going to do over the summer? i will be airsofting, reading, playing XBOX, and being stupid.

My list of things to do this summer:
Finish filming the DBHskate video
Finish mixing this local band's premier album (Releasing August 2009)
Have actual fun.
Airsoft fasting.
Trying to make as much money as possible so I can get my German loadout.

G36-C + Leapers Red Dot + Some mid-caps
ABS Helmet (OD) + Scott Mask
Flektarn Chest Rig
Flektarn Pants+Blouse (Classic)
Flektarn Pants+Blouse (Tropical)
German Combat Boots
Total: ~350

Any tips on money making? I want all the items listen above by January 1st of '10.

Come to think of it, I could probably have it all by the end of the year just by waiting it out. I figure I'll get about $200 on my B-day from family and friends and another $250 on Christmas...hmm...maybe I could do this without any work at all

But still, anyone have any moneymaking tips? Stuff I could do online?

I plan on airsoft this summer, and maybe getting a job. Columbus happens to host the largest college in the country(Ohio State), and College kids usually kill off all the jpbs that are open to kids my age(including Grocery stores).

Your 15, your legal to get a work permit (wait you did! haha!)
find anywhere that you can work at, (7-11, albertsons, AIRSOFT GI! haha no kidding about that last part)

thats a good 24 bucks a day.

Sell anything you don't need or want!
Craigs list, ETC.

Make your own things and sell em! Someone made copper wiring, or something like that, You can try making COOKIES OR LEMONADE haha, especially lemonade its going to be hot here in California this summer.

dude wash dishes. Over just the last two summers(summer of 8th grade, summer of 9th grade, and soon the summer of 10th grade) I have made about 2500 dollars. its a great gig.

haha, seriously, though, look for jobs at surplus stores! you get to apply your knowledge and make money!

yea Im going in like 2 weeks.

I won't be able to take pics because I don't want to carry my camera. However one of our adult leaders is carrying a large DSLR like he does every year so I should have some good pics on a CD after the trip.

Honestly from the sound of Philmont, northern tier is a little more laid back but doesn't have the activities and extra events like Philmont.

there is a part of town called the South Valley. at least one person is killed by an explosive device a year down there. the only reason to watch the news is to see who got nailed during the day. it is entirely normal to wear level IIIA ballistics protection in the Warzone. i will only ever go into the South Valley if i am in a Bradley IFV. trust me, you do not want to go there. Thank Don't use the Lord's name in vain. i live on the Westside!
