Setting my smart charger

i just bought this smart charger, but i don't know how to set it for my battery. i have a JG Works 8.4v 1100mah Ni-MH. anybody have some ideas?

i herd that that was a smart charger that doesnt quick charge

beh, i don't mind if it doesn't quick charge, i just need to know how to set it so it will charge in the first place!

It says in the description it quick charges...Unless you're calling Tim a LIAR
@ Jarhead, what exactly do you mean by "set"?

well, there are two little knob sort things, the yellow ones in the picture at the link i gave you. i think you're supposed to turn them to the battery thing. i'm not making sense.

edit: okay, well, i looked at it again, and there are two little yellow knob things. the one on the right has two options: 300ma and 600ma. the knob on the left asks for number of cells. it says: 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10. by cells, does it mean little individual battery looking things? because mine has 7.

EDIT: Okay I'm looking at the picture and those knobs are SMALL! But the picture isn't clear enough that I can see the selections....what are the options that you can turn each knob to?

what i am trying to ask here is:
what do i set the "ma" knob at and what setting do i set the "cell" knob at?

so in the box of little things that look like ETC useless bull um, chips.
There is this one thing that is a bit odd shaped.
Its the size of a penny, and has a thin metal sheet on the bottem. Not big, a quarter might be the same size as it.
It has a black grip that says KEY

Set it to 300 mAh or 600 mAh

Now look at your battery.
Most likely you have a 8.4 battery so.
Switch that bad boy to 7 cells.
If not, then look at your battery, count the cells.

Anyhoo, look down at the charger, to where the battery is suppsoed to connect to.
There is a huge bubble like thing on the chord.
Well pull the connector half of the chord out, and put in the large rechargable battery connector in.

If you have a mini volt battery, put the large to small connector on the large connector?
Comprende? or do I have to paint a picture, for you?

ah, thank you, mike, for explaining it in terms only a complete idiot wouldn't understand! thanks to you, too, M14. i was babbling like a idiot back there, haha. but, the batts are charging, and Mr. Busey is happier than a fat dude in the McDonald's drive through lane!
