Hanging my vest? Empty
PostSubject: Hanging my vest?   Hanging my vest? Icon_minitimeMon Aug 31, 2009 9:28 pm

So as a Room decoration I'm hanging up my gear and such. I was hanging my heavy cross draw vest, by it's carrying handle, and I was wondering "will this thing fall and break?"
I know, I know, really REALLY STUPID QUESTION, and can be locked ASAP as long as I can get an answer...

Its an OE Tech crossdraw vest holding 6 m4 mags, 3 pistol m9 metal mags, and my m9 pistol...
I'm worried that the carrying handle will somehow break and the whole thing will fall down, crushing my vest.
Do you guys think its safe to hang my vest like this?

The little loop at the top of the vest, behind the Neck. It should be Fine. That little loop is meant to Bear a Lot of weight.

If I'm not mistaken, those are also on real vests, and are ment to support the weight of a Soldier. Why you ask?
Incase the Unthinkable happens and you need to be Dragged off the Field.

I think it depends on if your nail or wall will hold the vest. jocolor
