New vest... I believe...

Alright so, I had a whole long message in here before it was erased. But I am purchasing the USMC CIRAS OD Vest off of Evike.

Two questions.
What size are the pouches for the ballistic plates?

I am concerned that there won't be enough pouches to fit my m4 magazines.

In the pictures it shows 5 mag pouches!
Which is right?

If you are unable to fit all your mags, you could do a few things.

1) Remove other unneeded pouches and put new STANAG pouches on
2) buy a thigh rig and put STANAG pouches there
3) buy open top STANAG pouches with MOLLE on the front and put more pouches on those

Do you have any information in regards to the plate pouch size?

All I'm coming up with are sizes for the real EI CIRAS's, so it varies. Sorry man, you might need to just call Evike.

edit: wait! SnoSnipe just told me he believes it takes Medium plates

Well that's good because that was what I believe my field operator is going to be selling me.

The dimensions for the plate were around...
