The Hair

okay well, my hair (on my head) is about 8 inches long, meaning i can't really look good wearing and type of military hats, i want to though but i don't really know how to put it so it doesnt get in my eyes, and no ski masks.

btw the hair is not going to go i look terrible with short hair and it doesn't keep my head warm in the winter

any solutions?

I see no other solution...

Elvis didnt look good with a shaved head, but hey...its practicallity that counts.

i can put it behind my ears, in a pony tail, but i can't get it so it's comfortable, and stays tight

so this is emma now and I think long hair is such a turnoff.. pony tails are even worse which is why i made chris shave his head after our first date LOL

For one i got a girl that loves my hair, like everybody else. number two pony tails are a last resort for me, even at work, i will do anything to not put in a pony tail. tie a shoe lace around my head so it's outta my eyes, bandanas, hats, hood hair nets shower caps, ect.

anyways people at my age are starting to commit to socity with short hair, i like to be different. it's not going, any other thoughts

What I do is I take an OD colored t-shirt and put it over my head so my face is visible through the neck hole, then tie the sleeves behind my head. I'll wear that under a boonie or helmet. And just so you don't get the wrong idea, not all girls like short hair. I even know one or two that like guys with pony tails. So unless you have a gf that prefers one way over the other, go with what you like.

Well hey, everyone likes to be a bit different...thats cool. We're a democratic nation (not really) for a reason.
But I'm telling you, you'll be better off in every aspect of life with more manageable hair

Thanks omaga, as for you durkee imma grow my hair out real long track you down and whip you with it haha jk, i don't like pony tails because my hair doesnt fall like it should it sticks out then drops the last 3 inches, as for women yeah they all like different stuff as we all know.

I thought my head would look like a goddang butterball turkey if I cut my hair short, but actually, it has brought my awesome looks up big time.

But, I guess you could always pull a Vincent Vega.

Long hair is weird...I grew up in SA and you would NEVER see long hair on a guy...just freaks me out when I see, especialy when I was in JROTS and ppeople refused to cut tr hair. Ah well I got to fail em so theres that.

Cut it like mine! Not long, not short, but kinda in the middle! Do you have curly hair or straight? I have curly so I can have it kinda "puffy"

Talk to some of his female fans. When Elvis was fat as "Watch your language", he was still considered sexy. Face it, he could get more women even fat or bald than anyone on his forum could with a full head of hair and a 6 pack.

well, other than that. I keep my hair short too. I've been getting a lot better feedback with short hair than with longer hair, and it's out of my eyes.

Naw, my hair is strait and silky, but still very thick, with the med length hair idea I don't really know I like my hair, I asked my girl frind last night about it, and she said bobby pins or hair clips, which will work, since the will sit on top of my head, it is going to be hidden to the open eyes unless I pull off the boonie hat or the patrol cap,

as for my hair being poofy it's only got poof if I let my hair air dry after a shower, then it feathers out at the bottoms. People normally don't see it like that so I always get asked if I got a hair cut hah.

@ AFU, I had short hair until I turned 12 and even then it was a median length, it started to grow long about a year ago.

I'm sorry but that just sounds so wrong comming from a dude..be a man get your hair cut.

haha yeah it does sound wrong, but I like it hah. And no I will not get my hair cut, trying to get me to get a hair cut, is trying to get a vegan to eat anything animal related, impossible to do.

It's actualy verry possible to get them to eat somthing animal related *bwahahaha* I know some vegans..good times. And eventualy your gonna have to grow up and get it cut...neither the business world or the armed forces take kindly to long hair on dudes. For business it's becouse most business is global now and most cultures frown upon long hair on guys..and in the forces it's hygiane..lice are not cool.

well, no sh**, for one I'm not joining the military, unless it's a last choice. As for business yeah I will, but I am thinking of working at home on computers and making websites and what not. I do work in a restraunt and they don't mind me having long hair as long as its out of my eyes, and doesn't get in any food.

As for the lice, thats a load of bull, I got lice 3 times and my hair was short. It doesn't matter how long your hair is, it matters how well you take care of it.

Actually, lice are more likely to be attracted to someone who has clean hair than someone who has dirty hair.

So there really is no defense against them, except for that lice shampoo.

Mhm i don't know ive never had lice..hairs always been shorter then 2cm so maybe that has somthing to do with it. I know in the Army the no hair, head or facial, is designed to keep away lice away (hard to take care of your head in a war zone), it was implemented in WW I to help in the trenches. (If you look at pictures of soldiers before WW I they had big beards, longish hair ect.)
