| Any suggestions for an SAS loadout? Probably tan or desert camo, or even woodland would work. | |

| Depends on what. The SAS divide them selfs into two divisions. A counter terrorism division, and a special ops division.
I can tell you more about the Counter Terroism gear, but for right now, I got to go to school.

| SAS in real life look nothing like they do in CoD!!!!!!!
The pics I have seen of SAS/SBS guys in A-Stan all have mixed Desert DPM and DPM BDU's, and usually a RAV plate carrier. They also use a 16in M4, its called a L119(a1 and i think they have a a2). If you can find brit web gear that would be a cheaper alternative than the RAV. I will have to do some research to see what web gear they use. Just ask if you want more info, I can probably find everything they use down to the radio... I hope... sticks

| I know that sticks
Heres what I know, a little bit of the info could be outdated, but they actually use this...
In a counterterroism (special ops loadout post later) They tend to wear all black. Fireproof over alls, fire proof underwear, pretty much the clothing is fireproof everything, in BLACK and BLACK only. The gear tends to be black kevlar vests, and such. A swat vest might work well, just get rid of the SWAT name on the back. They use gas masks (as everyone should know) with the filters still attached so they don't get blinded with their stun, or flash bangs. Also to prevent CS gas from getting into their lungs.
The weapon of choice for CQB counter terroism. A typical SAS soldier in the counter terrosim division uses the (in airsoft) and MP5A5 with the torch on the hand guard. A back up weapon would be either the Sig Saur P226, or the browning. The Pointman, (one breaching doors) would have a remmington m700 shotgun on him. Another way of entry, hammer.
A sniper team would have a spotter, and a sniper. The sniper using a standard L96A1
Note. Gear for counter terroism MUST ALL BE BLACK, and NO OTHER COLOR. Gas mask is a yes, to anyone who says "BUT THATS JUST A VIDEO GAME!" its based in real life too... they indeed do wear gas masks. Kevlar helmet is optional, but some don't wear it because say worst case you do get shot up close in a kevlar helmet, your likely to die either way...
Flash Bangs and Stun Grenades only, don't want to kill the hostages if any.
I'll research a bit on special ops division for ya. I'll be back soon.

| When you say "Browning", you are referring to the Browning Hi-Power, correct? | |

| Okay, just making sure. I don't believe there are any Hi-Powers in the airsoft world, but a 1911 would be close enough. A CZ75 would be even closer though. | |

| Even a Five-Seven at distance could pass for a Hi-Power. AT DISTANCE THOUGH! | |

| well i think the 1911 would be a better alternative as the basic design of the browning high powered is off of the 1911 | |

| Yeah, the 1911 is a closer resemblance. I imagine some SAS members use the 1911, though | |
