Subject: M4 making scratchy sound? Mon Jan 25, 2010 2:17 am
So, my m4 is making a scratchy sound, and BELIEVE me its not the motor. My buddy of mine is telling me my battery is screwed up, and i'd need a new battery, and an upgrade (a 9.6) I know i havn't gave too much info, but
Would there actually be in any scenario where a gun would need a new battery upgrade?

I don't think a rifle would do that because of the daggum battery. Does it still shoot?

No you need to adjust the motor height, this has absolutely nothing to deal with the battery. And I would take apart the gearbox to make sure no teeth were stripped. Or else adjusting the motor height will not be worth the time.
