grenades....

hi guys.
dose anyone use grenades (frag) or the grenade launchers (under barrel etc.)
and how much would your average nade cost?
I'm thinking about buying some just don't know witch one to get.

M203's are rather unimpressive. They fail to be practical in anything but CQB and still aren't very reliable things. Airsoft grenades generally suck, they don't work very well and cost to much to be worth it anyway. The best one, the Tornado, isn't too bad but really only works as it should when thrown on a hard surface.

Your best bet for grenades is to find some pea grenades. Those babies actually to "explode" and shower everything in a good 3 meter or so radius. They can also cause disorienting effects from the very loud pop they have when they go off. Sadly though these aren't easy to come by and some fields may not allow them to be used.

Pea grenades are only available if you are in a state that allows fireworks, as well. If your state/city does not allow fireworks, a green gas or C02 grenade will be your best option. They're reusable and pack a punch (although not as loud as pea grenades). If you have a tight budget (as C02/green gas grenades can be expensive) you can always use inert objects such as tennis balls (filled with sand for realistic weight) or any other throwable object to simulated grenades. Impacts are based on the honor system (if you're withing X feet of it, your are "dead".)

As iliveforthis99 said, M203's are pretty much useless. Unless you're running a grenadier loudout and want it for looks, theres no need. They're really just big shotguns.
