Given the fact that most engagements in that environment (arid desert, mountain range) are fairly long and Al Qaeda doesn't have the most sophisticated optics, I don't think they would be able to tell. If anything it would be, "Hey, that looks like an M4, I wonder if he's Ameri-" BOOM HEADSHOT

Well Tom Greer screwed the pooch here, it is so sad when someone who is supposed to be setting the standards, striving to be an example, dedicated no only in word but in deed, decides just because he has a chip on his shoulder or suffers from a inferiority complex, has to go and open his fat trap all in the name of increasing his bank account balance.

Forget the fact of breaking his Oath not only as a soldier ( he was enlisted before he decided to go Gold ), but also his Oath as an Officer, by going public with 60 Min. and the publishing of his Book(s), he has placed many in even more danger, has described how SOCOM Works and operates, revealed its capabilities, assets, and areas that need improvement.

INHO this P.O.S. ranks right up there with Richard Marchinko, Eric “Hollywood” Haney, there are reasons why you are required to sign DNR/DND/DNP aggreements, and it is not just because of National Security, I would love to see these bastards charged with Treason and locked away for the rest of their lives.

I guess it dosn´t matter to them that there are still Operators out there in the field putting it on the line every single day, a better quality of Operator that is still giving it their all, living the hardships, doing the sweating, experiancing the fear and shedding the blood when required, I guess it´s easy when they are at home, safe, getting Fat, Dumb and Happy, rubbing one out while drooling over the last bank statement.

Just goes to prove that no matter how Special, how Elite, how Dedicated any unit is, a few Bad Apples always slip through the cracks.
