| so, installing the new bucking into my new gr16 a2 plastica, apparently the charging handle spring is stretched, anyway to fix this? | |

| No, but come to think of it...maybe thats whats wrong with mine. I can pull my charging handle a full foot out of the body...hahaha. Maybe a full charging handle replacement is called for... | |

| The only way I can think to fix it would be too maybe cut off a coil or two. It may or may not work though, I'm kind of talking out my ass here. | |

I used to do that. Had to cut off a couple of coils every time I took apart my GR-16. It gets worse and worse over time. After 5 months I replaced the spring with a rubber band. Perfect solution. It resists tension instead of resisting compression. | |
