meh i took a look at the UTG vests before. and i fear they wouldn't hold ak mags like this vest is specifically made for.
yeah. im trying to make my russian loadout as milsim as possible i suppose.
but i don't see how paying more for something that looks the same = milsim? hummm

The realism makes it more MilSim, that's all. Helll, you could roll onto the field with Target-brand camo trousers and a 1st Gen Army LBV, and you could consider that MilSim. But when you have the real shitt, then that's just hardcore MilSim.

haha i suppose, im actually almost done with my loadout, i just need to find a cover. im contemplating between a cap, and a boonie.

Eh. Well, for covers, look at this way. The boonie will keep the sun off your neck, but I don't reckon it's an actual Soviet issue item. The cap will be a little more realistic, but only shades the front of your head. That's pretty much all the advantages I can think of, haha

i think the boonie is the best way to go though because i was looking at some pics and it had paratroopers in flektarn wearing only boonies. i saw no caps. whether or not the hat is actual soviet issue or not doesn't really bother me haha

for sure. so i think this vest can hold maybe 12 ak mags, but im not sure. i guess i'll have to wait and see
