Newbie here, hey all.

Happy to be acquented with you all
I have known about Airsoft for a good three or so years now. But it's only now that I have much free time on my hands and an itchy trigger finger
I am unsure of what equipment exactally is good for a beginner. I have a side-arm and an assault rifle in mind, perhaps a sniper, but I doubt the latter are newbie material. I kind of have an idea about the clothing I am meant to wear but I am not certain. It's hard to find beginners guides out and about.

If perhaps someone could shed some light on my troubles that would be grand

well there are a cheap way to go but sniping immediaty probably not the best choice. it is not for everyone. try like getting an m4 first and then see before youy invest allot of money

As 1shot said, being a sniper takes experience in feild craft and right now, for you. Making the solid team is the highest priority before specific roles are assigned.

My friend is beginning to start a team, you can go to my post and check out how it is doing from time to time. Basically a progress log.

The only problems I can find is that I don't know anyone or anywhere around my area who does Airsoft, I'll keep an eye out though.
