Now that my gear is pretty much set i decided to work on the exterior of my gun. The optic just came in today.
Arma 255 (EOTech 552 clone)
Both green and red settings
Magpul E-Mag's
The "holosight" isn't to bad for $50, i could of afforded better but i didn't like the idea of a real EOTech getting shot out and i'm out $500 so i went cheap. But this is airsoft so why would i need a $500+ sight? Quality is pretty decent for being so cheap although it's mostly plastic but metal where it counts. The green setting has several brightness levels (red does as well) and can easily be seen in daylight, haven't used the red yet but it's more for night or dark areas. Overall i'm mostly happy with it, having used a real EOTech though i've found i had my hopes set a little high but other than that it's fine. Can't wait to use it in a game i have coming up the 21st.
Already reviewed the Magpuls in my new gear thread but i'll do a little one here. Freaking expensive but well worth the price, i have never seen an airsoft mag feel so sturdy. Still breaking them in but once i get past the first 2-3 BB's in the stack they feed perfectly in my KWA. Sadly now they do not seem to work in G&G Combat Machines, they're either to small or the mag well is to big on the CM. Could not also get them to lock in properly with a DPMS M4 which as far as i know is basically a JG or Echo 1 plastic body M4.
Still going to pick up some things over the summer, Magpul MOE stock, ergo pistol grip, either a DD RIS system or MOE handguards, need to chuck the front site and if i get a RIS i'll drop some clone MBUS sights on just for show.
