Shooter Gun Question

What is the gun does Bob Swagger use in Shooter , the one that he shoots the helicopter with .

Barret M107 I beleive. AKA the 50 cal that the armed forces use. Your talking about the beginning of the movie right? Cause he does blow up 2 copters in it. I big problem that I had with that scene was the direcor made him hand cycle the bolt for that added suspense.

Yeah he does blow up two helicopters , but I was talking about the on at the front of the movie . But thats not the same gun that he uses to shoot the terrorist following the convoy is it . Which one is that , or are they both the same and one is just an earlier model .

I don't know what the first one is, but I know that they are different and the second on is the infamous Barret 50.cal.

The one he uses to Shoot the Terrorists is an M24, modified for the movies of course,

The civilian version would be the Remington 700

Slob is correct about the Remington. He actually had 2 of them in that movie. The scopes were Leopold Mk4 M2(or 1), The bipod was a Harris 6-9, and he used Krylon paint! Well thats what My eyes told me anyway.....

The gun that he shoots the can of soup with is a Cheytac M200. This one sported a Leupold Mk4 M3 scope though. Again this is just what I thought I was looking at, try googleing some screen shots for solid facts. Its been a good 3 weeks since I have seen the movie.

In that pic he uses a Remington 700;Its either the SPS Tactical or the VSF models, If its none of those then Wally world may carry a generic M700. Sorry I can't help you more .

Thats alright I was just gonna search the name and see if they make an airsoft gun replica of the gun .

I love the m24 he uses!!

Personally, I liked the Barret .50 cal when it was unveiled from under the bag in the beginning. It looked like a beast.

It does that is the kind of airsoft gun I want . By the way isn't this the same as the gun on the www.theairsoftsniper.com snipers page under which gun do I chose .

A_S that's a CA M24. They're pretty much extinct now, if your looking they're running about $200.

Oh the gun in the begining of the movie where he covers the contractors is an M40a3. They don't make a replica of this gun yet; they used to make a stock but it ran $360 and had a habbit of snapping. The other gun is just a M700.

If you want a M700 just get a BAR or a VSR 10.
