new team need help

well im starting a team we have 7 people and we really need advice on tactics and how 2 get sponsored

Sponsored ? Sounds like speedball , no sponsors , because then sponsors will want you to wear their tshirts to a battle , and turn airsoft into a job , not a hobby . But if you want tips on starting a team just sayso because I will help you .

Sounds like quite a weaponry. Some advice would be to google "your area" Airsoft and see what comes up, as for other teams in your area. I live in St. Louis, so I would google St.Louis airsoft, or Missouri Airsoft.

BTW, sponsorship is NOT just a paintball thing. My airsoft team is sponsered by a local surplus and airsoft supplier called actionhobbies. we just wear a badge and have a flag for big events and paul at actionhobbies gives us free ammo and little other freebies too.

allright ill google socal airsoft. we allready have 1 sponsor but its just cause one of our players dad sponsored us with his company so we get bbs and evry once in a whil we get a free gun its only a echo1 ak but its still tight

that is nice lol i wish there was a company out here that would do that for us lol

ya well he is prety tight he used to do some paintball in tournaments so he gave us some tips cause tactics 4 paintball work 4 airsoft most of the time. he even gave us the idea to start the team even though were pretty young

I think that it is best that you start young because you will be just as good or better than a 20 year old guy that starts at the same time as you just because by the time you hit 20 if you still do airsoft then you will have many years of the sport under your belt.

yup and even better ive been airsofting for 3 years b4 but this is my first team, ive also know sum good tactics i just wish i knew some 4 team training. im the expert of tactics on my team with no help from my other coleaders.

just play airsoft instruct them on mistakes but most importantly don't get harsh with them because they may leave and also let them learn from there mistakes eventually they will get tired of being out so soon and want to start to try and last longer after this happens with everyone then you should just practice moments and stuff that would be useful in the environment that you play in but you also have to train for others so don't just target one skill and go for it otherwise you may find yourself out quickly when it comes time to play in a event.

all of our player r allready into airsoft so they wont leave. we tried to start a team with the same people but know there r knew leaders(me, my bro, and victor) so we r just gona srimmage and c who works together and find there strengths and weakness.

Starting a Team ??

The best advice I could give you is `` Keep it Fun´´.
Find out what direction you ``all``want the team to go, what kind of games you ``all´´ want to play. Don´t get wrapped around the axel about assigning positions, jobs......, let Players figure it out for themselves. After a while when everybody starts klicking together, then you can start getting specific with different jobs and tasks.

Sponsers are Great !!! Don´t let your team become commercialized, but having a good Sponser can really help keep your costs down. Having a Sponser also puts added Pressure on the Team, No Sponser wants to be assosiated with an Immature Team, Fighting, Cheating, Brutal Players.

After a while when you have esablished a Good raport with your sponser most will start throwing Freebies you way, Equipment to test, Weapons, Uniforms ....., Our Sponser even lets us keep the Tested Equipment and Weapons ( another way we manage to fill the Team Treasury, Test, Tune, Sell ).

Just remember Keep it FUN, or your Team will Fade away real fast.

It didn´t happen overnight, took alot of hard work to get to this level, make sure you set some boundries with your sponser, we do wear 1 Patch, and nothing more, no silk screened emblems, ungodly large patches, and we do hang thier Flag out when we are at events.

Our team if we ever do get sponsored we will wear one small velcro patch like your team slob, but we have a screen press so we can put our team name and sponsor on a t-shirt and throw them at people. lol

As far as we go with sponsors is for our website , and that is just for keeping it up . We get our money by charging for events and other things non-sponsor related .

yeah then you use your sponsor like a weopon

Yeah , I reccommend a bb with our sponsors name on them , that way we can really put our sponsors to good use , lol .

yep then when they get shot with a high powered rifle it will leave an imprant and theyll be sponsoring your sponsors
