Finally a Team Name

Finally a team name for us norther michigan players. Normally we just went by northern michigan tactical assault team, but that is lame. First of all, our area of michigan is rich with native american culture and history. Lately I have been trying to think of a team name that fits us and the area. Therefore when I saw a patch at the army navy I found the name. The patch is my avatar, and it was world war II 3rd armored division. I purchase a green out version of the patch for each member and now we go by Spearhead Tactical Assault Team, otherwise known as S.T.A.T. Sorry Stat( the member) but it works. I honestly didn't think of you at all while in the the store.

STAT is a player name not a team name.

What do you mean? I think it will still work. We just what to get recognized and verse so legitimate teams.

You might want to rethink that team name. There is a team in that area (northern Ohio) that is called S.T.A.T as well. It might be confusing to have another team within close proximity with the same name.

Team S.T.A.T. (Sandusky Tactical Assault Team)

O well, I will what other names a may find, but so far we are a small team with many players in our area recognizing us and getting together to start playing.

I was thinking maybe T.L.A.T. Torch Lake Assault Team.

You might want to rethink the patch thing. Most vets don't like airsofters wearing real patches.

IMO ask a vet of that company if you could wear them before you slap them on. Other wise sounds good guys!

yeah don't worry about the name just if somebody asks say what city and sate you are from so they know which is witch.

Hey, I just saw that that patch was used in Campaign of COD5....

I can say with almost little doubt, if you show up to a game or event, unless it is strictly re-enactment, and you are wearing a Military Patch on your Uniform, unless you Served, you are going to have Problems, and to make it worse, Bastardize a Military Patch, then it won´t matter if you did your time in Boots or not.

I was thinking about just putting that patch on an old bdu or t shirt to wear to events, then only have my reverse flag on my actual bdu. Wear could i get a custom patch.

The stuff they do in EU and ASIA are the worst. I understand that they are reenacting however not many other airsofters are going to snicker at you if you don't wear a 10th mountain patch if you are reenacting the 10th mountain. That gets me and I haven't even served(yet).

lol thats funny; i am going to put a US flag on my BDU.

I don't have a problem with it because I do not believe it is US military specific(like unit patches are), however I could be wrong.

If people are cool with it I'm going to put one on my admin pouch(not ADMIN,as in the Administator).

I would wear an american flag on my vest just because I like to show where im from and if people have a problem with it they can deal with it because its not like I am saying I was ever military or will be I just wanted to have a patch that distinguish me in battles. Mostly because most of the events around me are america vs. another country.
