| let me start out by saying i shoot my gun(tsd/utg l96) ALOT in the summer maybe 100 or soo rounds a day on average and in winter about 50, lately i have notinced that my fps has dropped signifigantly. ive lubed the cylender and ive cleaned and lubed the barrel and seen no results, ive even tryd stretching one of my old springs but that only helps for a short time. do u guys have any idea what the prblem is, is it fixable or do i have to buy a new spring, were do you buy springs for a well L96??
i poor man chronod it and it seems to be 340-385 fps with .20's long story short idk waht to do.

| i am pretty sure that the numbers mean meters per second, and if your l96 is a clone it will have the exact same parts and shape... | |

| Kkoerber is correct, PDI is Joules; Laylax is Meters Per Second.

| A 150 spring would be close to 500 fps, I would go with a 130 or 140.
I actually don't think they even make 140, and 130 would be around 430 fps. To put a 150 spring in I think that you would have to upgrade you piston and spring guide with reinforced, better ones. Also, you could look into the teflon coated cylinder and an upgraded cylinder head. I know that you already have a tbb in hand and you have a hop up on the way. I think you could go up to a 170 or 190 if you had the zero trigger system. That would put you up to a possible 600 fps. Wow, but that would rack up the cash money on the way!

| with all those upgrades I previously listed, you would spend 350 dollars, not including a hop up, bucking, tightbore barrel, and the flat out original price of the gun. I estimate that to become a 600 dollar project. | |

| You need a Zero trigger to handle a spring that size...

| I have recently been talking to sniper004 and he will be purchasing a zero trigger within 2 weeks. Along with other upgrades on the way after, like piston, spring guide, hop up, and tbb. Actually he already own the tbb. | |

| You don't need a zero trigger as long as you upgrade the piston and trigger sears.

| yeah but it is easier just to buy a zero trigger. because we don't know how to upgrade the the trigger sears. | |

| I could tell you how. It's actually very easy and will save you some money. Obviously the zero trigger will also increase your accuracy too but is that tiny increase really worth an extra hundred dollars instead of just buying the sears?

| Well it's not an increase in accuracy in the true sense, but an increase in the consistency of your shots, because it prevents excess movement in the trigger units and also in the parts in the cylinder.
