| At school today while my math teacher was rambling on about quadratic functions, I had a insight to a idea.
Most guns utilize RIS rails, to get down to the point, if you wanted too, you could make your own design and paint it strictly on the RIS with your player name or team name. Then during a game you can cover it with a rail cover. but you could use numerous designs from cutting out paper templates.
Sponsors can make greened-out RIS with their name on it. other than the badges. Not to mention...ITS ON THE GUN.
It is pretty cheap a set of RIS side rails for a G36 cost in the ball park $4. add in painting and labor, I'd say $15 a pop.
It is just a thought. once I get some money, I want to buy two sets so I can begin playing with my designs. If you guys want me to make you one once I have perfected it, shoot me a PM.

| Thats an awesome idea, once you perdect it you should also make a video on it or something to show others, or keep it yourself and sell it either way. | |

| Okay, so I am guessing you are just making a template of the design you want, then you are spray painting it onto the rail system?
If so it sounds like a great idea simple Kyrlon costs like $5.00 a can and yeah.
But wouldn't it be kinda hard to do this? Well, I mean read the printing, because how the rails are made? It would contrast a lot from what I am picturing and be a little hard to read. I don't really know though so when you get the money post some pics so we can all see, and straighten this up for me.

| I would have to brush paint any detail like letters or designs. I will also be doing a 1/2 mm deep engraving for letters or designs.
I'll get some pics...I will be buying the rails soon.

| Sounds good if you can execute it properly. If you make good rails I'll have to get some for my G36C. | |

| I can. I use to paint model tanks... I have those little brushes where the end tip is only like 2mm in diameter pretty dead on. I also still need to buy the paint. But I am going to be making 1 for my gun soon. I am buying 2 atm but one is going to be exposed so I figure why not decorate it... Oh and I can do the hello kitty designs also | |
