M1A1 Thompson reassembly Empty
PostSubject: M1A1 Thompson reassembly   M1A1 Thompson reassembly Icon_minitimeWed Jan 21, 2009 12:59 am

Wow guys, I'm in a hole this time. I took my Thopmson apart to check a few things, fix the saftey, and remove the orange tip. I did all of that. But now, Im having VERY tough luck getting the upper reciever and the lower reciever back together it requires some sort of sliding movement that is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE. Anybody know how to do this???

P.S: please don't suggest Youtube videos, my Adobe flashplayer is non-existant, and no matter how many times I donlowed the blasted thing, it still tells me I don't have it. Therefore, Youtube doesnt work.

RESOLVED. I had our engineer come over and he figured it out in about a minute and a half. An my dad and I tried to get it in from 8:30 to 9:30......Don't use the Lord's name in vain. bless him!! cheers But yeah, after I get my 360, Im ordering a new hop-up because for some reason, after putting it back together, my Thompson doesnt shoot as far, or NEAR as accurate....and a new trigger assembly.

yes, m14 double taps, mine did the same. ever since it was put back together it has not shot as well and accuracy has stray bbs and the range isn't too good.

Yeah, ARD-

My thompsons depleation in accuracy is depressing. I before, on full auto, I would get a stray about every 30-40 shots. Now it get five strays every 20. Im so used to the amazing acuracy, it seems so bad, but actually now its just average. hopefully a new hop-up will fix that...
