| My Freinds And I were recently playing a scenario game. the scenario was Marines VS Insurgents. we had M4s, SAWs, the standard stuff for the marines, and I was DM with my M324. the terrorists were all using AKs and G36c's. I took up a position on a ridge to support my squad. All of the sudden, shots rang out, and my friend (he is very spontanious and funny) came running into my squad (screaming " ALA!!!" the whole time) with his new mad bull tornado grenade. There was no pin to be seen. The grenade went off, and he got himself and all of the marines out . What are your opinions on this Kind of attack? | |

| No, because intentional suicides could count against you at some fields. Simply because this kind of behavior isn't supported by some fields.
I guess it would be accurate had it been a true mil-sim situation.

| Well I think the way your friend pulled a "suicide" attach is pretty pointless, I know that you guys were playing around but its really ineffective as a strategy. However some "suicide" attacks can be very effective and honestly should be in most team's playbooks. I'm not talking about holding a grenade and running at the enemy, but something such as a diversionary attack so a larger force can slip by the OPFOR. Ie, the objective is to get the VIP from point A to point B. But there is a huge amount of OPFOR in between you(A) and the arrival destination(B). You send a fire team to distract the OPFOR, while you slip by them on the flanks. I have seen allot of similar plans executed properly and very effectively. Thats all... sticks | |

| That particular suicide attack seems pointless, he could have just thrown the grenade and probably done more damage. | |

| I didnt see him get hit at all. I think my team was a little too dumbfounded to do anything. They just were staring at him as he ran toward them. | |

| Well I had thought about this before and this is what I thought. If your playing lie dead style and you know your about to get shot lie on the pin of a gerdage. When they come to take bbs or gernades ect. They role you over pin comes off... BANG and now there are atleast 2 dead people. Now if a medic came over hopefuly he got you bank in before roling you over so you could tell him gernade under me. Also on the reverse of this in the millitary now you are told if there is a gernade and you can not get away and you know it will blow jump on it and use your body as a sheild for the rest of your team. | |

| I guess that would work, but we don't play dead bodies. and about lying down on the grenade to save your teammates, that would hurt like a b**** to the guy doing it. | |

| Well depends what your wearing. If your wearing a dragonarrmor (kevlar with no lead plate) vest you wont hurt with that on. I have it and it takes almost all the feeling of being hit (wich is anoying becuase you don't if you been hit. | |

| I think these "suicide" attacks are well worth it because you get alot more people out than you would if you were just playing regularly. sniperGokey out. | |

| PErfect situation.
Your defending your base with a few other guys. You have a sniper and spotter, a few guys with mp5s, a few with p90's and a machine gun position or 2, and a guy with a jag
Your body keeps saying theres somthing in the woods, and when you look to where hes pointing, a blood curdling sound comes from the woods
BBBBOOOOOOOOONNNNZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!
Suddenly the entire enemy attack force runs out of the woods firing at anything that moves. your team is able to push them back, beceause you were well fortified, and could pic them out from there unsuported positions
All Scucide attacks are is a scare tactic. Same with kamikaze bombing. It may work once or twice, but eventually the other team will just leave the heavy stuff at there base and lay into your team so fast, that all youl see is people signaling that there hit.(not to mention you give away your positon by the pointless screaming)
IT didnt work in WWII, and it probably wont work nowadays

| no, what you need to do is strap an airsoft claymore to your stomach under a coat or field shirt and run the detonator wire down your sleeve so you can slide the detonator into your hand. you then walk to the other team's position without any weapons and act natural. pretend to surrender. then, when you get there, open your shirt, scream 'I HAS COCAINES!' and detonate the claymore! am i good or what? man, i should get a job with al qaeda! (just kidding about the al qaeda thing) | |
