| I'm looking at a gas sniper and I want to know if the only type is green gas. I know that green doesn't work in the cold. Somebody correct me. | |

| None of your gas weapons will work well in the cold, the gas contracts and just donĀ“t release the energy needed to make the gun work correctly, regardless if using Green, Red, Black, or straight Propane, this includes all Gas operated AirSoft devices, Mines, Grenade launcher, Pistols, Rifles and so on. There are ways to get around the cold, using hand warmers around your Mags and Pistol grips, Gas extension kits ( Hose adapters from Gas Bottle to Rifle ). Just be warned, heating your gas regardless of the season, it will increase the guns performance, but it is extremely dangerous, Explosion and Burns. Ask almost any Smoker that tried filling his magazines with a cigarette hanging out his/her mouth. | |

| I don't believe they make one but if you could mod a Gas Sniper Rifle to use Co2 that would work because of buddy of mine has a Co2 gun and it works just as good in the cold as it does when its warm out. | |

| Actually they do, its called a cold shot. Its a really simple system, you just tap the mags with a 2 way valve and add an expansion chamber/double regulator to the Co2 tank and you are done. I'll see if I can find the link later.
