medic gear

so im going to be a medic and im not sure what to carry gearwise. anyone have any suggestions

An aid Bag, Red Cross Arm Band,

Weapons are optional for a medic, but a Pistol is a must.

Also make sure that your aid bag serves some purpose, like carrying some actual First Aid Equipment, Bandages, Tweezers, Asprin,Zink/ Magnesium Powder or Tablets, Iodine.

If your gonna drag the bag, put it to good use

A bag to hold your stuff, Bandages, Water Bottles, ETC.
A small weapon too, so you don't have to carry much weight while holding your bag.

Are you playing as an active field medic or role-playing?

For active field medic:
-Mid-size field medical utility kit (backpack size) maybe a surplus one
-RED CROSS cert.

For a role-playing "medic"
-Medic bag (pack, rig puch, or sidebag)
-Medic armband and helmet insignia
-For WWII RP: M1 or M1 Carbine
-For modern: M16 or other small assault rifle

If you ARE trying to become an active field medic (real), go ahead and contact me if you have any question about it.

I would say go with a backpack or something thats large enough to hold all of your medic gear. For a weapon I would have to say go with a small assualt rifle like a G36C or an M4 commando or an SMG like an MP5 or an MP5k.

Are you "pretending" to be a combat medic or are you trying to become a REAL, trained medic for your field?

Mas, you can always make an armband also. As far as packs, I'd look into some kind of assault pack. Get a red cross patch too.

NO!!!! That kitpod is crap. First off, it's a cheap chinese enterpretation of first aid pods. Second, its militarily inaccurate. Third, it's a belt kit, not meant for the role of squad medic at all!
