| Hi guys, I'm new to the forums. Maybe someone has already covered this in some other article, but I am really confused over which sniper rifle I should get.
Too often in a skirmish I need a gun with a little more range than my G36C, so I'm looking to buy a new sniper rifle. I'm kind of broke, so it would be great if I could find one at $100 or less. I've heard good things about the Jg BAR-10 and AWP L96, but I've also heard bad things about them as well.
I've heard the BAR-10 is hard to put together , but that it is also comfortable to hold and is relatively accurate. The L96 is supposed to be of relatively cheap construction, but perform well for its cost. Can someone please help me decide? | |

| Well, if you need more range, I would suggest a DMR. Those rifles you mentioned are committed sniper rifles, and are bolt action. A DMR is simply an AEG with higher range than your normal AEG. I would suggest M14s, M16s, G3s, AUGs, or any other long range rifle. You then have long range with full-auto capability! As far as price, off the top of my head, the cheapest thing I can think of is the E1 dsr, which is around $140. If I were you, I would look around and see what you can find. Then, go to youtube or any other site to watch reviews before you buy. Hope I could help, and happy hunting! | |

| I never really thought about that. I looked up some videos, and the M14 is looking pretty cool. Thank you so much for the advice! | |

| Yeah, I think you're right. I'm moving away from the idea of a bolt action rifle. The position of DM definitely sounds more exciting. Is the m14 any good? | |

| That depends, what brand are you looking at? several brands that make good M14s for cheap are cyma, utg, echo1. If money is not a concern, than I recomend g&g and Tokyo Marui. | |

| Tsd I think makes a good one, not sure though. make sure to watch and read reviews, they can probably tell a lot more than I can! | |
