Sorry this took a bit to answer been laid out with the stomach flu the past few days
Ok, First if you have no experience with GB dis assembly, Gun Break Down, or Soldering, don´t attempt this !!! You are just going to make yourself very unhappy.
Parts and tools needed,
Soldering Iron or Gun
Solder
New cable
New Cable shoes ( Clips )
Steady hands
Rewiring the GB is not that hard, it does require a bit of patients, and finger finger finesse ( especially if you have fat fingers like me ).
So an M4 GB with back wiring is set up with,
a ( - ) negative from battery to motor,
a ( + ) to switch assembly,
a (+) from switch assembly to motor
the selector plate is what closes the circuit, causing the gun to fire.
( See cheesy diagram )
To rewire the gun for front wiring, you are going to be removing the Negative to motor, and Positive from battery to switch assembly, and run them out the window located next to the switch assembly,
( see cheesy picture #2 ) The window is circled in Red
Unsolder the positive from switch assembly to battery, re-route the cable through the window and re-solder it back on, don´t try just twisting it around to fit through the window, you will break the Switch assembly ( always do the Hard right way, instead of the Easy wrong way ).
You are going to re-route your Negative cable through the same window, along the same cable canal as the positive to motor, across the Pinion Gear opening, into the negative cable motor cable canal.
( See cheesy picture #3 )
That's all there is to rewiring the GB.
Now the fun Part,
2 options here,
First check and see if you have the space to run the cables under your Hop-Up element, some model guns are already set up to rewire guns in both directions.
You should be able to see a slot window underneath your outer barrel leading into the GB inner receiver, if not you are going to have to make one.
Or.....
You can remove the Gas tube, enlarge that hole and run your cables out that way.
Hope this answerd your question if not.....................
