Barrels & BB's Dscf4712

Above is my choice for a great barrel and bb's....come on it's a systema Laughing I found a great review for the major manufacturers of bb's, and after reading I decided to go with KSC bb's.

Here is the link for the review:

http://www.airsoftmechanics.com/home/content/view/13/29/1/0/

I have went through 6000 rds with the new barrel and haven't had one jam. Watch, now I will jinx myself. Shocked

So what is everyone using or had the best results with?

i use a KM head barrel in my M4 and im contemplating getting a silencer and a longer barrel for my M9(probably a KM head or promethius).

for bb's i use KSC/Excel at fields where i can use non bio's.
for Conquest i have used airsoft elite brand bb's, their excellent for bio's and they have never jammed in my gun. i havent even found a deformed one yet(still have half a bag of .20's left) which is incredible for bio's considering the materials that they use are alot harder to mold perfectively. Systema 455mm X 6.04mm in my CA36
Deep Fire 455mm X 6.04mm in E1 AK
M14 had a Prometheus 650mm X 6.03mm in it, but I put it back to stock and sent the barrel Slackers way. Very Happy

I use Excel .23's in my AEG's and have had great results without a single jam in any of them.

In my Bar10, which has a stock barrel right now, I am currently using KSC .30's which seem to do the trick. I would like to try some .28's though, the place I ordered from were out of stock.

I use Excel .20's in my M9... and anything in my ICS M203. Very Happy

.28's are over rated. the KSC .30 will do you just fine. plus the .28's are kinda expensive.

Yeah I kinda figure the .30's would give me more accuracy than the .28's but I would like to compare them side by side and see if the range is any different between them and also how wind effects them.

k well i am now a Systema fan... sorta. last night i put a Systema AK barrel in my friends G36 (G36's have one of the easiest take downs BTW). since it was raining i got to shoot in the basement(the same place where i did my other groupings) and all i have to say is wow... on full auto we made a J without pausing at all. this barrel also increased the FPS pretty dramatically(guessing its at 325 w/.25's). the same thing happened with my M4 but i didnt think it would happen with that short of a barrel(my barrel in my M4 is at 550mm an AK barrel is at 455ish).

now all i have to do is test it for the longer ranges. ill tell you how it performs when i do that.

Tell your friend he made a WISE decision getting the G36 and putting a Systema barrel in... afterall this is a similar setup to mine. Very Happy

I am running a 455mm in my CA36 and it shoots great. I am a big fan of Systema barrels.
