| I have recently discovered the greatness of the Tanio Koba Twist Barrels. They are designed around a helectical design with something that looks like rifling on the inside. The "rifling" isn't used in the way a normal gun would use it (causing the munition to spin) it instead is used to create air channels around the bb to keep it in the middle of the barrel. This works suprisingly well. The one catch about the barrel is that if you are shooting more than one joule (320 fps with .20) than the gun shoots worse than the stock barrel. The airflow is to weak to effect the bb at these speeds and the odd inner shape causes the bb to bounce all over. This means the TK barrel is best used on a stock gun. I actually am using on in my JG Bar-10 with fantastic results. I'm getting 4 inch groupings at 200 feet on a bad day with .27s. I had to downgrade my spring though to an sp110 and put in a nineball bucking. The weakened spring however is extremely quite and the bolt pull does't take any effort at all. It doesn't match the performance of a 500fps rifle with an edgi tightbore but with the parts required to make your gun shoot 500 costing nearly $400 and my upgrades costing me $80 I am very happy with the performance. | |

| actually, this sounds like a great Idea. this way, your rifle could be CQB legal and you could shoot effectively out of buildings. | |

| Which is why it is a idea for me, because for that same price I can get a prommy stainless steel 6.01 TBB for a M16 length gun. OR a TT (lol thats a EMO face) | |

| If anything, I would get one for a CQB gun so h=that it can also be effective at field ranges. | |
