| Im assuming you mean the categories on Airsoft G.I. The real diffrence is that CQB is close combat weapons such as a P90 or MP5K and field guns are usually guns tha have longer ranges such as an M16 or M4. | |

| A CQB AEG is something like an MP5 and is meant to be used in close combat at a max range of about 75ft. A feild AEG is something like an M16/M4 and could be used for longer targets up to about 120ft. Basically a CQB AEG is an AEG with a small barrel and is meant to be used up close and personal so anything like MP5's, M4 pistols, MP7's, Skorpions, etc.... Feild guns are used at long to mid-range and are meant to be accurate guns like M16, M4, SCAR, AK-47, etc.... | |

| Well it all depends on the internals of the weapon really for example CQB- ( in real life ) is usually referred to as SMG's, short assault rifles, shotguns etc while FIELD - would be more regular to larger type assault weapons and longer range such as the M14, M16, SIG550 | |
