Hey guys,
I've been airsofting for a while, but just backyard stuff with springers. I'm looking for a decent field aeg, and I have a few choices. My friend has an Airsoft GI gun and loves it, so I've been looking at them, and I've been looking at Echo 1. I don't have too much of a budget, about $200.
Here's what I was thinking:
Echo 1 M14
Airsoft GI G4-A3
Airsoft GI G4-A5
or possibly the Airsoft GI SOCOM
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
ZedHead

echo 1 makes some fantastic rifles, they are usually durible.
the G4 series is made from G&G so the parts should be better
I lean twards the G4A3

I back the G4-A3 as well.

While it doesn't have the fepicly hugemongous rail system that the A5 has (I have the G4-A5 DMR), it has more than enough realty for anything you could ever want on there.

The base gun (G&G) is great, the flip up sights are to die for, and the free-float barrel is a great addition.
But in the end, its up to what you're using it for. All the G4 series pretty much have the same perfomance.

The G4-A5 is difficult to take corners with. I'm actually about to sell it and pick up an A3 or something.

Gotta agree with the others. A3. As accurate as the A5 Is, it's big and un-wieldy. Also, if you only have 200 bucks, know that I'm pretty sure none of these replicas come with batteries and chargers.

Thanks for all this. I think that I will go for the A3, because there are some CQB areas in the field I play.
And yes, I saw that they didn't come with batteries, but I have about $60 extra for those, that's why I have the gun limit at around $200.
I'll be sure to stick around, hopefully learn some stuff.
