| what are some other sports that help you get into shape for airsoft? i think one of the biggest helps is baseball(at least for running). i notice that when i play and sprint from base to base, i almost feel like im running from cover to cover | |

| i play tennis(helps me get scholarship so i can go to collage), and football. other than that i try to run as much as i can to increase endurance. i used to run the 100m in treack but tennis is during the track season so i had to quit doin that.

| I went to Logan....................band was never cool. j/k I love to play tennis, i love to walk the local golf course, and the occasional pick up game of basketball. I also do a good bit of hiking. however, none of these things keep me in shape. DK | |

| I do Tae Kwon Do and will be getting my black belt this summer. I think I have played every sport other that lacrosse and hockey. Some of my favorites are: Snow Skiing, Wake-boarding, Basket Ball, and White water rafting. | |

| Through high school I was more of a football/tennis/track kind of guy, but I still have a lot of respect for our band (geeks) j/k Roamer. I just know it's not as physically easy as it looks! Anyway, nowadays I don't do much to stay in shape for airsoft except practice a lot with the team. I'll soon be going on nightly jogs with my girlfriend to stay in shape. This past all day open-play at Conquest (in Sunbury, Ohio) quickly made me realize how out of shape I'm in | |

Have you ever played? It takes more practice and effort than more are willing to put out.

| lol Golf and Tennis are two of the hardest sports to learn. so dont knock em. they are those sports where the tenth of an angle off and the ball will go out type things.its just that most people dont think that hitting a ball on a big wire strung racket can be hard. or hitting a small ball with a metal pipe with a rectangular head would be hard. its one of those things that you have to try(like the gas sniper system)
i played Baseball for 9years until recently when i got bored with it. it was fun for awile, then i just got bored with it.

| Actually I was on the Golf team. Honestly, it does take a good bit of energy, especially in this area due to all the hills. If you walk 18 holes carrying a heavy golf bag in the middle of summer it wears you out pretty quickly. I also played football for 3 years prior to this... and I could have continued playing it, but golf was more of a challenge for me as I REALLY enjoyed playing it. I would say the best sports I can think of that would help you in Airsoft would be the following though: Soccer - tons of running gets you in shape quick. Basketball - a lot of sprinting up and down a court quickly makes you faster. Football - extra gear on restricts breathing and lots of running get you ready for the tac vest. Paintball - gives you an understanding of what to look for and also a lot of running involved. I know somebody is going to say something stupid about speedball and just standing there... if you are good at it, you dont stand in one place very long. Trust me, there is a lot of fast paced sprints involved that get your heart pounding. Chess - ok, its not a sport per say, but it requires a lot of thinking and strategy. Golf - requires a lot of yardage readings, which give you a major advantage over other players... trust me it works for me every time. Those are my picks. | |

| Seabass I didn't know you were on the golf team. You are right about the hills around here. We should go sometime when it warms up. | |

| Used to do it everyday during the summer... sometimes 2-3 times in one day actually. - Best part of being on the golf team, unlimited access to the Brass Ring for $150. Now that I have to pay like $40 a round I dont play anymore! | |

| Track and Cross Country, the shape you will be in is crazy. I just switched from paintball to cross country but playing the role of sniper is mostly the same and cross country helps so much because it allows you to cover 2x the distance. Also you will be more accurate due to being able to control breathing better. Track helps getting to cover faster if your doing sprints. | |
