| I'm deciding between the Maruzen APS2 SV style or the the JG Bar 10.
Opinions please!
Consider how well they upgrade as well
oh ya and btw, can you take off those iron sights on the very tip of the jg bar 10 barrel ? or does it not really get in the way or annoy?

| I know Maruzen is a good company. Ive never heard of that specific gun though. Where would you be getting it from? | |

| There both really good guns with a lot of upgrade potential. I would go with the Maruzen over all I think there a better company than JG and Maruzens sniper is probably a better build than the BAR-10. | |

He dosent mean the BAR like the WWII LMG. The JG BaR-10 is modled off of the M700 sniper rifle see link below. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2493

| With the difference in price... i assume you are going to mod the Bar 10 pretty much right away?? If so, I would say the Bar 10 as you could get a Zero trigger on it, laylax 170 spring and be shooting 550 fps in no time. | |

| The zero trigger has steel sears, the sears would be similar in function to gears in an AEG. It would be like using a M140 spring in a stock JG. Yes it will shot like 450FPS but not for very long.
The kit also comes with a metal piston, if you keep using the plastic piston that comes with the BAR10 eventually you will start slam firing.

| Yes the trigger is going to cost you a pretty penny but it will be worth it. If I were you I wouldent take the chance with the stock scope if you want to make sure your getting a good scope buy one not from the package. I wouldent know because ive never ordered a scope package. | |

Actually the Zero Trigger system operates differently than the stock trigger assembly as well... the sears retract in a way that makes it have less wear. Thats why it is more reliable than just upgrading to Laylax sears in the stock assembly. Oh and it lets you also run stiffer springs reliably. It will save you money just to save for the Zero trigger trust me. Also... even though it is a cheap scope, the one in the package is actually good enough for airsoft. I say this because you don't want to buy a $300 scope and have it destroyed while playing the game. The scope in the scope package has a nice zoom and seems to be fairly good. All I did was add a sunshade...
