| Uh, yeah, i'm looking at the Jing Gong Steyr AUG Civilian, and I was wondering what kind of optics are recommended for it. I'm looking for cheap optics, like in the $30-$50 range. | |

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=4651 a wee bit out of my price range, but it looks nice I would not spend that kind of money on a reflex sight. They are VERY fragile. A single bb to the lense will destroy it and leave you out of $60.

| Well most of the "durability" claims are of the body, not the lense. From my experiences, even the most expensive reflex is very easily shattered by a BB at close or mid range.
Maybe I've just had bad luck.

| Well you see most scopes and sights not made for airsoft guns are usually pretty easy to shatter and break because they were made for target shooting and hunting shooting am I right or am I right . So only buy scopes and sites that say they are shatter resistant . | |

| well, i've been looking at military sights, too, but they all cost about $250. i don't want reliable optics that cost more than my rifle. | |

pfft who does. I have this one for my MK5 and I love it. Dropped it a few times, but still durable. Though the batterys are RARE. You have to go to radio shack to get them. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2321

| Yeah some of them cheap scopes are just thaat cheap . I do suggest that you look into a scope that you want a little bit more than just a cheap price . | |
