scoping in a sniper scope!

hi i am kinda new to airsoft and was wondering how do i sight in an airsoft scope? is it the same as a real gun scope or wat i really need help. also if you have any tips about sniping tell me plz...

Make sure your far enough away from the object your sighting it in on. If your too close it wont work correctly.

ok like how far away i tryed it at like 50 yards but i think thats to close like 100 yds would work?

Use large targets like a big cardboard box with a bulleyes on it . Always aim for the center of the bullsseye but also try to compesate for the distance that it is off . For example if you take a shot and the bbs goes a little to the left then aim a little to the right . If this works then adjust the scope and if it is to the right then you just reverse it . I think that Slob already had a topic on this where he decribed it better than I am he even had some pictures maybe you can look for it . Any way just do it like you would a real steel gun scope because they do work the exact same way . Also I almost forgot . Remeber to check the wind and sight in your scope when the wind resistance is the least because unlike real steel airsoft bbs are effected greater by the wind than a bullet is . Try if you can to do it indoors ( no not in your living room but maybe in a garage ) as this will if not eliminate the wind problem it will reduce it a pretty good bit . Well Have Fun .
