i hate budgets

okay, well, my budget isn't going to allow me to get a gun over $200. so i am now looking at these two guns.

i have heard great things about the G36C, but i have heard it's easier to find parts for the M4, too. i need the gun to be compact for CQB, but good enough for field. this means no more suggestions. i value all your opinions, but i must decide between these rifles.
which one, guys?

G36c is your better choice the JG M4-S system is a little funky. The JG G36c is one of the best guns that JG makes I recomend it. The S-system battery is wierd and may require some modding to get it to fit right also you can''t get a bigger battery than a 8.4v. Also the G36c is a unique gun and not everybody has one. Lots of people have an M4 and you wont be unique also it dosen't have a good ROF and the FPS is a little to high.


JG G36c all the way its the better choice all around.

yeah...... it has a slightly lower fps but not much.... GO for the g36

FPS is should never be a determining factor in buying a gun, knowing whether or not it is a POS is.

My say: G36C, reason:
The G36C is way easier to work on out of the two. Also it is a lot of room for good upgrades. 7mm Gearbox already included.

The only problem with this gun is its range, and growing room. If you plan on hitting targets from at least 100 - 120 ft accurately, you will need a TBB and maybe a full metal hop up. Not necessarily a tighter spring, but a M120 would help if you plan on shooting .25 g bbs. The growing room is a another limiting factor. When buying a larger battery you need to make sure it can fit in the stock handguard if not, you may need one of these handguards: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=868 (this handguard is compatible, read description, works with both CA and TM models)

And if your going to install anything like a lipo you will obviously need to rewire your gun, possibly have the shim/bushing job redone by a pro, and a new motor.

Good Luck, and I still say the G36C. The style fits right for almost any scenario and it is comfortable to hold.

okay, another question: the field i will be playing at is CQB ( http://www.abqairsoft.com/Hours-Prices.htm ). the field limit is 330 fps. seeing as this rifle is around 400, i will need to buy speed reducers. suggestions for type and how to install them?

wow the max fps for my local CQB field is 380. No velocity reducers do not work, Try the gun stock first. Mine only shoots 380 FPS only because I upgraded it.

Airsoft GI says the stock velocity is 330 FPS.

okay, so is there any hope for me if the fps is still high? or will i be stuck leaving my brand new rifle at home and renting the range guns?

well im not for sure, but you could try the FPS reducers...but they really only work in a range of 20 FPS nothing significant.

JG M4 S - System is a "Watch your language" of a battery to get in. Honestly, dude. So many people have other complaints, stick with G36C.
