deleting stagnant users

by doing this, i mean deleting users who have not logged on in over six months. i hate looking into a profile and seeing they haven't been on in a couple months.

yeah, it helps us figure out how many members we really have,

But imagine coming back after an extended leave too a non-existent account. How would you feel? All the work put into making posts, building rank, and reputation...gone. I have to disagree with you on this one Hoss.

you could at least log on or send Admin/a mod a PM

For some people, getting onto a computer to update the forum on their status is not possible at times. There are stagnant users that haven't been on because they enlisted or are shipped out overseas. There are people who are having financial trouble and no longer have access to a home computer. There are some guys that are grounded for life So with those who do not mean to be absent in mind, I disagree.

that is true, you have to take that in mind, that not everyone can get on because their away for a while
take admin for example, he hasn't been on in months, but we shouldn't delete him!

he would be an exception to the rule, because he is the Holy One of this forum

Good Points, Great arguements and it makes sense, but I would support cleaning out the members wha have not logged in in lets say the last 2 years

Yeah, Seabass is on from time-to-time and always inputs great info. Also....it makes the forum look good having lots of users!!

i was just throwing the idea out there. y'all all have good points, though, so i will admit defeat. for the first time in my life.
