how do you tell if a mag is compatible with a gun?

i have a Aftermath Broxa Evolution (yeah, nobody else has heard of it either) and a Galaxy Mp5 (which hasn't come in yet) and i need a couple mags for them. but the thing is, i can't tell what mags go with what guns. so if someone could give me some advice, that would be helpful.

ok yea, then just use MP5 mags. but why aftermath?

well, my dad got it for me for Christmas a year ago before i knew anything about airsoft, so its really just a starters gun. if i were to do it over again i would probably get something else, even though its a pretty good gun.

anyways, so any mp5 mag would do?

since you got the mp5 on airsoft GI then you should be able to go to the page for the mp5 that you got, and if you scrole down to the "Related Products" then you should be able to see a list of acessories that go with your gun. there probably is a clip that goes with your mp5 in there. good luck finding one.

PLEASE DO NOT SAY CLIP WHEN YOU MEAN MAG! sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine, just like when people say 'sniper' when they are referring to the rifle.

hahaha sorry dude. ive just allways called it a... well that word that you don't like. anyway, is it still anyoning to call it a sniper rifle? or is that the same to you as calling it a sniper?

A sniper is a person, a sniper rifle is a gun.

Clips only apply to WWII guns where you load a clip of rds into a mag-like chamber. No full magazine.

OH, well i didnt know that thats what clips were, but i was asking him if his pet peeve aplied to the term Sniper Rifle. i know that a sniper is a person.

anyway... back on track, to find out if a mag is compatable:
1.) take mag.
2.)take gun
3.)ram the !@#$ out of the mag until it desides to fit in the magazine well.



no just kidding, on the website, look underneath the product and it will say, people who purchased this also bought, and if you see your mag youll know.

yeah, just do what ncis says and you'll have a nice broken rifle!
