| Hey guys, it's going to be raining here on saturday. We're planning on having a game that day and i was wondering if it was ok to play in the rain with my new aeg? I know getting electrical things wet isn't good, i wasn't planning on bringing it out if it was a down pour, but if it was just a slight sprinkle and maybe a little harder rain?
Also would it be ok if i used my spring sniper in the rain?

| ok ill take your word wolf, i just didnt want my new gun breaking on me in my first battle because of some stupid electrical shock Anyone else think its alright to use? The battery is in the stock of the gun so im not so sure how easy it is for the rain to get to it | |

| Its ok to play in the rain with a normal AEG. If you have a MOSFET in your AEG then its a no go....
As a precaution I would wipe the aeg down externally and get some of the easy to reach intenals. ie, external gearbox, inside of the body, barrel, hop-up etc etc.

| spring guns should be fine in rain...as long as you don't keep it wet when you get home...or it'll rust | |

| well, when i played a fight during rain, the rain would have made the bbs fly down, thus unaccurete so if your friends are not taking shots, its probably not hitting them! | |

| You can Play in a Downpour,
Make sure your connectors are protected, If you have an installed MosFet, it needs to be covered/Protected ( Shrink Tube ), tape up the ends and no moisture will get in.
Even using external Battery packs, Bags, Slings will not be affected by a little moisture.
Make sure to pull some heavy cleaning on the gun after the game, and a few days later, steel sweats.

| MOSFET is a computer chip that regulates the battery output to the switch assembly, it also increases the trigger response allot. Thats the basics of them, I believe they also use MOSFET's in RC racing cars, I could be wrong though.
