| Creed, pyro is not meant to be used as a conventional blast munition. They simulate grenades and artillery bombardements.
sniper: there are a few different kinds, ranging from simple firecrackers to mil-spec smoke grenades. If fireworks of any kind are banned in your region, pyro is not an option for you.

| Some fields don't let people use pyro's
other than that being said. I just use my own smoke grenades, very effective.

| @ Creed: Following Lone Wolf's statement, I remembered that you live in Southern California, Creed. That being said, you will not be allowed ANYWHERE in the state of California to use "fireworks" without permission from local firemarshalls.
@sniper: same goes for you if you live in a state or region that has banned the use of fireworks.
Types of fireworks for use in airsoft matches: ~Smoke emmitters ~"Boom-sticks" ~BB's producing grenades (I don't advise using these)
In all cases, remember that fireworks produce massive heat. Any dry brush or flamable items around WILL catch fire.

| A guy at our field uses " Cold" smoke grenades. Maybe you should look into those. they don't produce any heat, but are just as effective as anything else. | |

| @Aveenvp: 'Cold' smoke grenades still produce a considerable ammount of heat, enough to ignite dry brush and other flamable items. don't be mistaken because of the name. They are safer than most smoke emmitters, however, because it masks most of the flare-like burning of chemicals that is present in most other 'hot' smoke grenades. | |

| Ohh ok that clears thing up. I was going crazy trying to figure out how smoke can be produced without heat. | |

| I recently bought a case of these, its the 16th down the list http://www.keystonefireworks.com/noveltyitems.htm and kept 11 in normal condition then took 11 more and made them into pull ring smoke gernades, these produce a greatamount of smoke and the pull rings work better than i thought they would. | |
