| I have been really into flying since I was 10. I have played several different games, and have settled on a flight simulator called warbirds. It has ww2 and ww1 planes, and it is real funn to get into huge 30 on 30 dogfights. getting shot down isn't that fun though. Does anyone else here fly flight sims, such as the IL-2 series or microsoft flight sims? | |

| Frankly, Ace Combat is one of the easiest flight sims ever, if it can even be called a flight sim. Takeoff and landing are practically done for you, and you can only stall if you head straight up. Deploying landing gear and flaps is done for you, and plus you have like 50 missiles. Not very realistic. | |

| I love the WW1 aircraft. they are extremely menuverable, almost never stall in a turn, can take a ton of damage, and have practically everlasting ammo. Only bad thing is that if you dive too fast you run the risk of having a wing rip off from the stress. Durkee, GOOD MAN!!! I guess aviation isn't for everyone. just the cool people like us . | |

| Ya sorry guys, but Battlefield and the "Aces" series are not true flight simulators. They lack the realism, physics, and detail that mainstream simulators feature, such as the Microsoft Flight Simulator Series, Microsoft Flight Simulator Series, and others... | |

| Real flight simulators are realistic to the point the if you got in the cockpit of a civilian aircraft, and were aquainted with all of the controls and instruments, you could solo fly in that plane comfortably. Also, jarhead, I own a small villa on the italian countryside, spending my time painting, flyfishing, and attending wine tastings . | |
