| if you are talking about the real gun lubricant then no; you should not use anything with an oil in it. try going to the local auto parts store and search for 100% silicon lubricant. its the only real gun lubricant that is safe for plastic. on top of that its really affordable at 3.99 a 1800ml can at my local store.
hope that helps.

| ye the oil will deteriorate the rubber in your hop-up. and probably your hop-up too since it is a plastic hop. it will weaken your mags with alot of everyday use, heck even if its just sitting there it will seperate them. plus i know you have a plastic body so that would be damaged.
besides metal is not always better, trust me just get the silicon

| all that you need to do is spray the hop-up with a little lube then your ready to go. the great thing about airsoft is that you only need to lube the barrel, most of the other parts have grease applied and unlike RS precision rifles you do not need to lube it every other time you fire it.

| I would, this could work just fine as it is just oil, but the risk is not worth the gain in my opinion. I support what Sticks.13 has already said above.

| Silicone spray is the way to go but if you have been using this for years and nothing has happened then it should be ok but I would still listen to sticks as well . | |
