| Ok imagine a traveling airsoft expo. Allows people to explore the sport of airsoft. Does this sound like a good idea? I'm not saying i would be the head of this, just a thought. | |

| Yea I think it would be a great idea, but I am not able to head it. If anyone were to head it, it would be real easy though. All they would have to do is get contacts with several of the airsoft companies that sale to the U.S. allow them to post exhibits and ranges w/e for a low entry fee, then also charge a low admission to the show and the money earned goes to renting the large places to hold them and the general staff. | |

| This actualy sounds like a pretty decent idea.... Except for the fact that this would cost a lot of money to maintain and control. Theres also the worry of local towns/citys veiw on guns, which if its bad could have a bad outcome like protesters and possibly a riot at the worst. This could paint a bad picture for the sport but at the same time it could paint a good picture and make the sport more popular... Its a hit or miss no matter how you look at it. | |

| Psh anti-gun protestors wouldn't care about airsoft they are mainly concerned about real steel + the airsoft community is kind of dead in these regions anyways. | |

dude... back when i lived in Littleton, Colorado, i was one block away from Columbine High School. i'm sure you know what happened there in April, 1999. if you wore any kind of camoflauge in a public place there or showed/did anything in a militaristic nature, you would have to talk to the police. they would also put you on their 'violent child list', and recommend you for a PsychEval. i was on one such list because i had a picture of a cat with a sniper rifle that a friend had given me in my desk.

| Then you play airsoft a couple years later, not much brighter. But the Columbine never happened anywhere else. | |

i'm not in that "Watch your language"-hole anymore, so no need to worry about it. and, yes, Columbine-like shootings have happened elsewhere. to name a few, the Viriginia Tech Massacre, 2007, the University of Texas at Austin Massacre, 1964, Northern Illinois University Massacre, 2008, University of Central Arkansas Shooting, 2008, Henry Ford Community College Shooting, 2009, Larose-Cut Off Middle School Shooting, 2009. just to name a few. and there are many that have happened overseas. the whole point i'm trying to make here is, people don't like guns anymore. they are afraid, they think every kid who has ever done anything with even a cap gun is going to be a violent child. America isn't like it used to be.

| Nope. Columbine was on my birthday. April 20th 1999. It is also hitlers birthday. Also in the month of April the Oklahoma city bombing on the 19th and the va tech shooting on the 16th. A sad month. | |

| Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold planned the shooting to be on Hitler's Birthday, because they were such psychos. no kidding. Dylan Klebold was a clinical psychopath. | |

| Did I say anywhere, no I meant not everywhere. I know about the other incidents. However these are rare.
And who said it would just be kids going to these expos. They would be welcomed, yes.
